Seit sechs Wochen ist die InnoSchool in der PlattformV in Dornbirn beheimatet. Wie kann man sich das vorstellen und was passiert dort eigentlich? Initiator und Programmleiter Thomas Kohler klärt auf:
Zwei Teams arbeiten seit sechs Wochen an Innovationsaufgaben, die sich thematisch beide im Bereich des Kochens der Zukunft bewegen. Einerseits geht es bei der Smart Kitchen Challenge um die Verbesserung der Organisation von Lebensmitteln in der Küche und bei der Chef Platform Challenge um digitale Lösungen für Köche.
Wer macht hier mit bzw. wen trifft man aktuell in der InnoSchool?
Die Teilnehmer kommen aus 13 verschiedenen Ländern und nehmen die Rollen von Produkt-Managern, UX-Designern und Software-Entwickler ein. Die interdisziplinären Teams arbeiten an den Ideen und entwickeln Prototypyen. Mentoren von Schindler Creations, Fortix, Hagen Management, 1zu1 Prototypen, TOWA, Crate.io und weitere Experten vermitteln Methodenwissen und begleiten die Teams auf ihrem Weg von der Idee zu einem MVP.
In wie fern sind die zwei teilnehmenden Unternehmen hier mit eingebunden?
Die Unternehmensvertreter diskutieren regelmäßig mit den Teams den Projektfortschritt. Außerdem befinden sich Mitglieder der Unternehmen in den Projektteams und nehmen somit das Wissen aus Workshops und Coachings mit. Nicht zu vergessen: Die Teilnehmer, die nach Dornbirn gekommen sind, lernen in den drei Monaten Land und Leute und die Corporates kennen. Das ist ein großer Benefit für beide Seiten.

Update von Team: Chef Platform
In den letzten sechs Wochen arbeitete das Chef Platform Team gemeinsam an der Ideengenerierung. In der ersten Woche machte sich das internationale Team in die Stadt Dornbirn auf, um Interviews mit Köchen zu fuehren. Obwohl nicht alle Köche für Auskünfte bereit waren, erhielt das Team in zahlreichen Gesprächen interessante Einsichten in deren Berufsalltag. Die Ergebnisse boten die Grundlage für die Ideenfindung. Die Lösungsvorschläge wurden in ersten Prototypen visualisiert und umgehend durch die Zielgruppe getestet. Nach mehreren Testrunden konnte sich das Team gemeinsam mit dem Unternehmenspartner letzte Woche auf ein Konzept einigen.

Update von Team: Smart Kitchen
Genau zur Halbzeit der InnoSchool hat das Smart Kitchen Team bereits einige Erfolge zu verzeichnen. Nach einer ausgewogenen Kombination an User Research und Trendanalyse konnte das Team bereits nach 3 Wochen eine erste simulierte Kücheninstallation mit potentiellen Kunden testen. Das Kernproblem, das das Team versucht zu lösen, ist zu wissen welche Lebensmittel in der Küche vorhanden sind. Die Iteraton von User Research, Ideengenerierung, Prototypen-Tests und Neudefinition des Projekt-Scopes wird im Smart Kitchen Team groß geschrieben. Wie im Prozess vorgesehen, werden Ideen schnell zum Prototypen gebastelt, getestet und wieder verworfen. In den nächsten 6 Wochen hat das Team nun die große Aufgabe die gefundenen Potentiale für zukünftige Kundenmehrwerte mit einer technischen Lösung zu vereinbaren. Am Ende muss der MVP und alle strategischen Einsichten nämliche eine klare Richtungsentscheidung bieten können, um das Projekt entweder langfristig umzusetzen, oder aber die Limits der technischen Umsetzbarkeit für den idealen Product-Market-Fit aufzuzeigen..
