Mehr als 30 Mitglieder der Plattform V folgten der Einladung von Blum am Freitagnachmittag, den 5. Juli 2019 zur Vorstellung ihres AI Labs. Walter Kollmann, Projektleiter bei Blum, empfind die Mitglieder und erklärte in einer Keynote den Sinn und den Zwecks des AI Labs und was bisher geschah. Ziel war es am Ende auch den neusten Proof of Concept (PoC) des AI Labs zu präsentieren und den Plattform V Mitgliedern vorzustellen. "Bei unserem PoC ging es darum zu beweisen, dass es möglich ist, hochauflösende Prozessdaten - in unserem Fall Daten eines Schweißprozesses - von der Anlagensteuerung in die Cloud zu übertragen um diese für ein Machine Learning Modell aufbereiten zu können," erklärt Walter Kollmann, Projektleiter bei Blum.

Anschließend konnte man bei einer kleinen AI-Messe sämtliche PoC’s genau studieren, Fragen stellen und sich austauschen. Es gab interessante Einblicke bei fünf Stationen wie man zum Beispiel Anlagedaten bereitstellt oder mit Microsoft IoT den Weg von der Edge in die Cloud findet. Crate.io stellte aktuelle Showcases vor. Jodok Batlogg stieg mit einer LIVE-Schaltung direkt bei einem Projekt ein und zeigte so die vielseitigen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten.
Der Gastgeber selber stelle seine Datenanalyse vor und präsentierte bei einem Messestand die Idee und das Management hinter dem AI Lab.
